Privacy Policy
Last updated June 2026
Gratia is a gratitude journal built by Artygroup LLC (“Gratia,” “we,” “us”). We designed it to be a private place to write, and we collect as little as we can while keeping the app working. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Your entries. The gratitude entries you write or dictate, along with the prompts you respond to. These are stored so you can read them back across your devices.
- Voice recordings. When you dictate an entry, audio is sent to our transcription provider (Deepgram) to convert it to text. Audio is used to produce your transcript and is not used to build advertising profiles.
- Account information. Gratia starts with an anonymous account. If you choose to back up your entries, we associate them with a Sign in with Apple identity so you can restore them.
- Subscription status. Purchases are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. We receive whether your subscription or trial is active — not your card details.
- Usage analytics. We use Statsig to understand which features are used and to improve the app. This is limited to product events and does not include the content of your entries.
How we use it
We use your information to provide the core journaling experience, sync and back up your entries, process voice dictation, manage your subscription, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content of your entries for advertising.
Where it lives
Your entries are stored locally on your device and synced to our backend (Supabase). Access is restricted to your account. We retain your data for as long as your account exists.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete any entry at any time.
- You can delete your account and associated data from within the app, which removes your entries from our servers.
- You can disable analytics collection in the app's settings.
Children
Gratia is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
